The $100 Down Payment HUD Home Program, utilizing FHA financing, has specifically designated HUD homes for sale in Charlotte, NC as well as other cities and states across the nation.
Good Neighbor Next Door Program:
Law enforcement officers, pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade teachers and firefighters/emergency medical technicians can contribute to community revitalization while becoming homeowners through HUD's Good Neighbor Next Door Sales Program. HUD offers a substantial incentive in the form of a discount of 50% from the list price of the home. In return you must commit to live in the property for 36 months as your sole residence.
Also called a Rural Development Loan, this government insured home loan assists low-income borrowers in purchasing in rural neighborhoods with NO Money Down. USDA Loans offer 100% financing to qualified buyers, and allow for all closing costs to be either paid for by the seller or financed into the loan. USDA offers some the lowest rates of any loan, and you will always have a fixed interest rate.
203K Streamline Loans:
If you've been passing up buying homes that require cosmetic repairs for lack of funds to fix them up, FHA has a program for you. Not to be confused with FHA's much more complicated 203K program, a Streamlined 203K loan eliminates much of the paperwork and simplifies the process to obtain rehab funds.
Veterans Administration Home Loan provide veterans with NO-down payment loans, favorable loan terms, and rehabilitation assistance. No restrictions on location. The VA Loan is available only to veterans that meets VA Loan eligibility requirements.
Homeownership Center of Charlotte:
Homeownership Center of Charlotte is a HUD-approved housing counseling program that provides special financing and/or down-payment assistance for home purchases, homebuyer education classes, credit/budget counseling and foreclosure intervention counseling.
